This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you visit roofknockers.com, use app.roofknockers.com, or interact with any related service (collectively, the "Service"). When you register, we collect your name, business email, hashed password, company name, phone number, business address, and, where provided, contractor license number.
You may enter information about prospects and customers into the Service, including names, phone numbers, email addresses, property addresses, insurance carrier details, and claim numbers. For this data you are the data controller (under GDPR) or business (under CCPA/CPRA), and RoofKnockers acts as a processor or service provider.
You may upload insurance estimates (ESX, PDF, image) and supporting documents. These files are stored in private, access-controlled storage and are processed only to provide the Service to you.
When you use the knock logger, we record the GPS location of door knocks you log. Location is collected only while you are actively using the knock logger. We do not track your device in the background.
We collect standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, and feature usage. This data is used to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers or bank account numbers on our systems. We receive and store a Stripe customer identifier, the last four digits and brand of your payment method, and subscription status.

After cancellation, Customer Data is retained in a read-only state for 90 days, after which it may be permanently deleted. Billing records are retained as required by tax and accounting law.
